Still closed for a while longer...

I have received several inquiries if I will be reopening the ring to new members for the New Year's Mystery. I wish I could, but those exciting life changes are getting more exciting every day! We are in the process of an adoption, and our placement should be soon. Having a new little one and a preschooler to care for will keep my hands full!

I want to give us a few weeks to settle in then when we are better adjusted I will consider reopening. I will post here and on the Quiltville Chat group.

Ring Closed for a While...

My family is in the midst of some exciting changes and I won't have much spare time, so I am closing the ring to new members for a while. I will post to the Quiltville Chat Yahoo group when it is open again.

I will still be maintaining the ring with the existing members.

Guidelines

Please share your work as you progress through the steps of the mystery.

Try to blog at least once a month. Blogs that have not been updated in a month will be moved to the queue.

Place the code for the webring in the sidebar of your blog where it is easy for people to find.

To Join

Click this link and submit your information. Then add the Mystery Quilters Webring code to the sidebar of your blog.

A few tips for completing the form...

Site Title- Name of your blog

Description- A sentence or two describing your blog.

Keywords- You may leave blank or write quilting, fabric, etc.

Site Entry URL- The address of your blog

HTML code URL- Leave blank

Site ID- You create this with letters and or numbers

Password- You create, do not use a valuable password

Name of Webmaster- Your name

E-Mail of Webmaster- Your e-mail

Click submit

You should recieve an e-mail that includes the code you need to paste into your blog. If you don't recieve the e-mail you can come back to this page and login with your Site ID and password to get the code. Your blog cannot become active in the ring until you have the code on your blog.

Each site is acitvated by the Ringmaster, Tracy, it may take a day or two. You will recieve an e-mail when your site becomes active. If you need to update or change your information you can also use the login box in the sidebar.

To Adjust the Webring Box to Fit in the Sidebar

The beginning of the HTML code looks sort of like this... (I couldn't use the exact code)

To make the box more narrow change 350 to 200. Save your changes. Be careful not to change any more of the code. :)

To Leave the Ring

Use the box in the sidebar to login and click "Remove Site" and then remove the Mystery Quilters webring code from your blog.
